Justice Served: Senate Confirms Neil Gorsuch

The Senate confirmed Judge Neil Gorsuch to be the 115th Supreme Court Justice in a 54-45 vote.

Three Democrats broke party rank to support the appeals court justice, filling the critical ninth seat that has been vacant since the death of Justice Antonin Scalia, and capping a critical campaign promise made by President Trump to restore the 5-4 conservative tilt on the bench.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell invoked the "nuclear option" for Republicans after the unprecedented Democratic filibuster.

Chief Justice John Roberts will privately administer the Constitutional Oath to Gorsuch at the Supreme Court, Monday moring, April 10. Later in the day, Justice Kennedy, Judge Gorsuch's former boss, will administer the Judicial Oath in a public ceremony at the White House, according to Fox News' Shannon Bream.
