Franklin Graham: Only God Can Fix Charlotte -- and America
By Todd Starnes
Christians from across America have converged on Charlotte, North Carolina - ministering to local residents impacted by the riots and unrest.
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, headquartered in Charlotte, is leading the way. They've deployed Rapid Response Teams with chaplains and other personnel to minister in the hot zones.
Franklin Graham asked a very important question: Haven't people learned by now that violence doesn't accomplish any good for anyone?
"What does work is prayer," he said in a Facebook posting. "And I encourage individuals, pastors, and churches of all denominations across the city of Charlotte, the state and across the country to pray. Our nation is in trouble not just politically and economically - it's in trouble racially, and only God can fix it."

"Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they work to protect us and help the city rebuild," read a message from the NC Troopers Association.
