Former President Trump was once the king of Twitter before the Big Tech platform “permanently suspended” him.
All that could change if SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk buys Twitter, however, Trump might not want to come back.
“I probably wouldn’t have any interest [in returning to Twitter if Musk bought the company],” Trump told Americano Media Wednesday.
“Twitter’s become very boring. They’ve gotten rid of a lot of good voices on Twitter, a lot of their conservative voices,” Trump said.
He reminisced about what Twitter was like before the purge of conservatives around the 2020 presidential election.
“It used to be a war on Twitter, but it was a very interesting war…Mentally, we had some pretty good fights. We would go after the progressives, who I call the un-progressives,” Trump said. “We’d be fighting back and forth and it was great stuff.”
But after launching the social media app, Truth Social, in February, Trump said his friends have told him Twitter is no longer the same.
