8 Temple University Students Robbed at Gunpoint in Philly

The City of Brotherly Love is anything but lovely these days and you can blame the problem on Democrats and woke district attorneys.

At least eight Temple University students were robbed at gunpoint over the weekend. Police say they are searching for three suspects — including one who pointed a gun at the head of one of the students.

The students were not injured but they were robbed of all of their possessions.

Would you let your kid attend school in an urban area?

Ironically, Temple has been at the forefront of the “defund the police” movement.

In 2020 the university announced it would no longer provide charitable donations to the Philadelphia Police Foundation. Instead, they said they would “reallocate these funds to support social justice programs at the university. “

As a result of their anti-cop agenda, the university has been victimized over and over by criminals.

So would it surprise you to know that now Temple is hiring even more officers and they’ve commissioned a study on how to make their campus safer?

Temple University’s Police Department and the College of Public Health and School of Social Work are also developing a partnership that would allow students working on their Master in social work to respond to mental health calls.

That’s just nuts.
