Dozens of teenagers clashed with police officers trying to arrest a student at Bear Creek High School in Stockton, California. We have posted video of the shocking brawl below.
Fox 40 reports the incident started when a student began fighting with a staff member at the school. When Stockton police arrived, all you-know-what broke loose. At one point, someone threw a garbage can at the officers.
“I didn’t know it was that bad. I was thinking a few students, you know, had an altercation. But I did not know it was as bad as it was from that video,” one parent told the television station.
Stockton police estimated that 80 students were involved and said several of the students tried to pull the officer off of the student being detained, Fox 40 reports. And several officers were struck by students.
“I don’t know what is going on with these kids. I don’t know. Even with the authority there and they are still being too much. It’s scary… it’s dangerous,” a parent said.
