Michael Lynn, III, Matthew Abdullah and RoJe Williams, along with a fourth teammate, were benched in 2017 after they took a knee during the Star-Spangled Banner.

The young men, who were students at Catholic High School in Lansing, said they decided to disrespect Old Glory in solidarity with disgraced ex-NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

“I can think of nothing more American than to peacefully stand up or take a knee for your rights anytime, anywhere or anyplace,” O’Rourke said in 2018.

O’Rourke released a statement to the Associated Press saing the four “have served their community in one of the most American ways possible.”

The Democrats believe the only true way you can love our nation is to hate our nation.

I’m sure O’Rourke’s guests will be easy to spot in the audience tonight. They’ll be the fellows taking a knee in the aisle as the rest of the crowd sings about the rocket’s red glare. Click here to pre-order Todd’s forthcoming book, “Culture Jihad: How to Stop the Left From Killing a Nation.”
