I first told you about William Loggans a few weeks ago. He’s a social studies teacher at Horizon High School in Orange County, Florida.
Mr. Loggans was ordered to remove a Charlie Kirk poster from his classroom. The poster showed Charlie sitting on a park bench. It also included one of his quotes:
“Never underestimate the power of your voice and the impact you can have on the world when you speak up for what you believe in.”

The district office ordered Mr. Loggans to take down that poster. They said a student had complained. They also said the poster’s message was controversial and too political.
Ironically, students and teachers were allowed to display gay pride flags – because apparently those were not controversial or political.
Mr. Loggans filed a complaint and after an attorney got involved the district had a change of heart – writing this in a statement to News 6:
“Following a meeting between Horizon High School administration and Social Studies Teacher William Loggans, the matter regarding the Charlie Kirk classroom poster has been resolved.
Mr. Loggans was originally asked to remove a poster featuring a quote by Charlie Kirk after it was described as “motivational”, which could be interpreted as partisan under district policy governing classroom displays. During the meeting, Mr. Loggans clarified that his intent was to use the poster to support instruction aligned with the state curriculum and the significance of the Bill of Rights to the American legal system and elements of constitutionalism.
The discussion provided an opportunity to clarify district guidelines and ensure a shared understanding of expectations. The situation has been resolved, and the school remains committed to maintaining a respectful, neutral learning environment for all students.”
Mr. Loggans is now able to display his poster.
“This is quite a victory, and it’s not my victory – this victory is the students’ victory,” Loggans told Fox News Digital. “Instead of being told what they can have or what kind of inspirational quotes they can have in the room and on the person, now they can hear different viewpoints. They can make up their own minds. And so, this is a clear victory for my students and, frankly, for students across this nation.”
eachers are held to a higher standard as public servants and must ensure their conduct does not undermine the trust of the students and families they serve. We will hold teachers who choose to make disgusting comments about the horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk accountable. Govern yourselves accordingly.
Mr. Loggans proved Charlie’s point – that you can have an impact when you speak up for what you believe in.
