BREAKING NEWS: There are multiple gunshot victims at a high school in Knoxville, Tennessee. Among the victims is a member of the Knoxville Police Department.
Authorities have not released any details regarding the shooting. There was video of one individual being led away from the school in handcuffs.
“I’m walking up to the scene now, all I can say is pray,” Vice Mayor Gwen McKenzie told television station WVLT.
The Knoxville Fire Dept. reports that they were able to assist victims thanks to the bravery and heroism of police officers.

“We were able to make contact, with help from the police department, shielding our paramedics as they advanced to the patients,” the department said in a statement.
Gov. Bill Lee urged Tennesseans to pray for the victims of the shooting calling it a “very difficult and tragic situation.”
