Progressive activist Noah Nordstrom announced Friday he’s challenging State Rep. Mark White’s (TN-R) seat in the statehouse.
Nordstrom’s day job is teaching Spanish to Memphis Shelby County School (MSCS) students.
Nordstrom spends the rest of his time with a megaphone, advocating for LGBT issues across Tennessee.
Nordstrom made national headlines after he and other activists hosted a ‘No Hate In Our State’ block party, a pro-transgender event at East Tennessee Sate University.
