A conservative non-profit is taking its case against Google to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals today in Seattle.
Prager University (PragerU) says Google and its subsidiary YouTube are targeting PragerU for ideological differences and engaging in unlawful censorship and discrimination.
“They have now banned 246 of our videos,” Dennis Prager said on The Todd Starnes Show. “They want to function as a publisher but also have the rights of an open forum.”
Prager said they can’t have it both ways.
“This is a big deal because just like on the campuses, there is a desire to shut down conservative thought.”
Prager said his organization has an internal email showing Google executives likening him, Ben Shapiro, and Jordan Peterson to Nazis.
“Ben Shapiro and I are religious Jews and we’ve both lost people in the Holocaust,” Prager said. “Jordan Peterson is one of the most morally sensitive human beings I’ve ever had the honor of meeting, and that’s how far left these people are who run Google.”
Google even banned videos promoting the Ten Commandments.
“Among the newly restricted videos are more videos from our 10 Commandments series with Dennis Prager including: Do Not Misuse God’s Name … Do Not Steal … Do Not Covet. Why would YouTube restrict these videos,” PragerU wrote on Twitter.
Prager said the left does not believe in liberty.
“The left has never been for liberty,” Prager stressed. “They’re for control and that includes speech.”
