Dr. Gene Fant, the president of North Greenville University, sent me an incredibly beautiful video earlier today.
“Joyful Sound,” the Christian university’s vocal ensemble, had been enjoying a day in Myrtle Beach when they came across a mom and her daughter.

A musical ensemble from North Greenville University was enjoying an afternoon of relaxation when they came across a family.
“We commented on this gentleman’s beautiful voice that we overheard on the beach and he replied with, ‘let us sing a song for your beautiful baby,'” Kelly Ackerman wrote on Facebook.
The college students gathered together and sang an impromptu version of “Jesus loves me.”
“Literally brought me to tears,” Mrs. Ackerman wrote. “So thankful for an encounter with beautiful humans from North Greenville University singing over my babes this morning in Garden City.”
I’m not sure about you, but I sure did need this blessing today. There’s a lot of noise in America these days — a lot ugliness — especially on social media.
And I’m mighty thankful these young people from North Greenville University reminded us of a simple, but life-changing, truth — that Jesus loves us.
