The University of Minnesota Medical School has gone woke.

The White Coat Ceremony for the Class of 2026 went far beyond the recitation of the traditional Hippocratic Oath. The medical students swore an oath to wokeness.
“We recognize the inequities built by past and present traumas rooted in white supremacy, colonialism, the gender binary, ableism, and all other forms of oppression,” the oath stated.
The University of Minnesota Medical School states that “our country is reckoning with its history, racism, racial injustice, and especially anti-black racism.” Applicants must “share your reflections on, experiences with, and greatest lessons learned about systemic racism,” which assumes such racism is an inarguable fact of life, the New York Post reported.
Medical Students Say Western Medicine is Racist
Campus Reform reports medical students pledged “to honor all Indigenous ways of healing” that are “historically marginalized by Western medicine.”
The oath goes on to address a rather problematic issue. It seems the school of medicine was built on land that once belonged to the Dakota Indians.
“Our institution is located on Dakota land…We commit to uprooting the legacy and perpetuation of structural violence deeply embedded within the health care system,” the oath stated.
Seems to me the only sure-fire way of righting that wrong is to bulldoze the university and turn the property back over to the local tribe.
Class of 2026 Has Raging Case of Microaggressions
It appears the entire Class of 2026 is infected with a raging case of woke microaggressions.
The only known cure is a steady diet of conservative talk radio – specifically my radio program. We’ve been able to cure several woke patients with a heavy dosage of constitutional common sense.
As I wrote in my book, “Culture Jihad: How to Stop the Left From Killing a Nation,” there is an effort afoot to jumpstart a race war in this nation. It started in earnest during the Obama administration and it continues today.
The New York Post reports that a number of other top medical programs in the nation have adopted similar pledges against white supremacy. They are no longer looking for the best and the brightest. They want the entitled and the wokest.
“Recruiting woke activists instead of the most qualified candidates will both undermine trust in health care and lead to worse health outcomes for patients. That’s the last thing medical schools should do,” Dr. Stanley Goldfarb wrote in the Post.
One final note, I’m really surprised none of the perpetually-offended Gen-Z medical students were triggered by the presence of all of those white coats.
