Cameron Blasek is the kind of kid I write about in my new book, “Twilight’s Last Gleaming.” He’s a member of Generation Z – a generation that I believe will save us from the clutches of the Communists.
Cameron is a senior at Indiana’s East Central High School in Illinois. He’s a patriotic young man. He drives a pickup truck and flies the America flag in the truck bed.
But the other day he was ordered by the principal to remove that flag or else face an insubordination charge.
Cameron politely informed the principal that would not happen. He also pointed to the student handbook – which had no directives banning Old Glory.
The following day more than two dozen of Cameron’s classmates showed up to school with their own American flags.
Cameron did the right thing. He took a stand with grace and humility. And with happy warriors like Cameron – we will remain one nation under God.
