Hello Americans, I’m Todd Starnes. Stand by for news and commentary next.
Patrick Henry High School is about to get a name change.
Henry was one of our Founding Fathers who famously declared, “Give me liberty, or give me death.”
He also owned slaves.
And the Minneapolis School Board seems to think that makes our Founding Fathers evil monsters whose names and writings must be erased from our memory and our history.
Heaven help the children for attending a school named after a man who put his life on the line so that we could live in a free nation.
“With the school being predominantly African American students in a predominantly African American neighborhood, they shouldn’t have to come to school every day and see that and be reminded of that,” Lashanna Murray told television station KARE.
Last year the school district renamed Thomas Jefferson Elementary School.
I wrote a book about the cancel culture mob titled, “Culture Jihad: How to Stop the Left From Killing a Nation.”
It explains the true intent of this effort to erase our nation’s history.
A systematic dismantling of every statue, monument, book, movie and painting that documents the land of the free and home of the brave.
The history of an imperfect union striving to be more perfect.
This mob of culture jihadists will not stop until they’ve completely turned our nation’s history and traditions into a heaping pile of rubble.
And unless good and decent patriots rise up and put a stop to this nonsense — it will be the death of liberty.
