A senior at Grand Island Senior High School in New York was banned from decorating her high school parking space because she wanted to reference her Christian faith. Sabrina Steffans submitted her proposed design to school leaders. Click here to see the designs and to watch my Newsmax interview with Sabrina’s attorney.
The artwork included messages like, “God is love” and “He loves you” and it also included a Christian cross. But the original design was rejected. She was forced to revise her design three more times and all of those were turned down as well.
Ultimately, she had to erase all references to God, the Bible, and her faith.
School leaders told the teenager that if they allowed her to include a cross on her parking space they would have to allow students to use satanic symbols on their parking spaces.
First Liberty Institute is representing Sabrina. Attorney Keisha Russell joined me on my Newsmax show to discuss the case. Watch below and click here to read my latest book on how to stop the left from destroying American values.
