NYC Shuts Down High School So Illegals Will Have Housing

Parents and students are livid after New York City announced that a prominent high school would be shut down so that the buildings could be used to house illegal aliens. Watch below:

Students at James Madison High School will be attending classes through virtual learning until further notice.

“Students are being punished and forced to bear the brunt of the migrant crisis perpetrated by Joe Biden,” said NYC Councilwoman Inna Vernikov. “This is unacceptable. Stop this now and take the migrants into Gracie Mansion.” Gracie Mansion is the home of the city’s mayor.

Nearly 2,000 illegals are being housed at the school because of the temporary encampment at Floyd Bennett Field could not protect them from a looming storm.

“Our community cannot handle this crisis. Cars are being stolen, stores are being robbed, and people are being accosted by migrants begging at their front doors,” said NY Assemblyman Tom Sullivan. “The fact that we are spending millions for this camp that this makes our community less safe is a slap in the face to all the hard working families that call Rockaway home.”

Sullivan, who is a member of the Conservative party, said President Biden, Gov. Kathy Hochul and Mayor Eric Adams have failed the citizens.

“The federal government must secure our border and the Governor and Mayor should listen to the people in their communities and reverse these disastrous policies,” he said. “Everyone knows this will only get worse.”

New Yorkers were stunned to learn that American school children were being displaced, the New York Post reported.

Should taxpayer-funded schools be shut down so illegal aliens can have housing on American soil?

“This is f—ed up,” said a local resident who identified himself only as Rob. “It’s a litmus test. They are using a storm, a legitimate situation, where they are testing this out. I guarantee you they’ll be here for the entire summer.

“There’s 1,900 people getting thrown into my neighborhood, half a block from where I live and we don’t know who they are,” he told the Post. “They’re not vetted. A lot of them have criminal records and backgrounds and we don’t even know.”

A number of parents were outside the school when the illegals arrived, the Post reported.

“How do you feel? Does it feel good?” the woman, who only identified herself as Michelle, screamed at the buses. “How does it feel that you kicked all the kids out of school tomorrow? Does it feel good? I hope you feel good. I hope you will sleep very well tonight!”

Said a local dad, “How do you feel stealing American tax money?”
