DEVELOPING STORY: Tens of thousands of students around the nation gathered around flag poles to pray for their schools and the nation. The annual “See You At The Pole” rallies took place this week on campuses across the country.
“We have always been interested in having the moment of See You at the Pole move towards a movement of prayer,” spokesman Doug Clark told Baptist Press. “We feel like that’s one of the most powerful legacies See You at the Pole can provide.”
According to the “See You at the Pole” website, Bible clubs, weekly prayer meetings and other ministries have begun on campuses where students participated in the event.
