Granby, Connecticut seems to be an unusual place for a culture war – but parents there are just fed up.

The other day children at Wells Road Intermediate School were shown a video about gender identity. It was part of the school’s pride month celebration, CTInsider.com reported.

Jasper, who uses they/them pronouns, says, “What pride means to me is nobody can tell you what to do. I have dolls. I love my dolls. Boys can play with dolls, too.”

“I have two moms,” says Mavis, who uses she/her pronouns. “I call them ‘Mommy’ and ‘Mama.’ What pride means to me is just being myself and standing up for what I believe in.”

Parents say they were not told in advance and were not given the opportunity to opt their kids out of the video presentation.

From Video Shown to Children

“Who are you to tell us what you’re going to teach our kids?” parent Mike Kramarenko told the local board of education. “We pay taxes. We have the right to know what our kids are going to learn.”

And this is why parents and grandparents should read my book, “Culture Jihad: How to Stop the Left From Killing a Nation.” Learn how to fight back.

The school district defended the film.

They say the video was designed for children as young as two-years-old.

They say they just wanted to remind children it is okay to be who they are and still be treated with respect and dignity.

No, the film was meant to indoctrinate.

“This is the straw that broke the camel’s back,” father Kyle Reyes told “Fox & Friends”. “There have been growing issues with not just our school district, but frankly, across the country where our kids are being read books about transgender crayons and racist police officers, and now the indoctrination has taken the place of education.”

Good for the moms and dads of Granby, Connecticut for rising up and speaking out.

Just remember your parental rights don’t stop at the schoolhouse door.

Should schools be allowed to teach kids about LGBT issues?
