Howard County High School in Maryland is holding a prom – but only for gay students.
The so-called “Pride Prom” is only open to LGBTQ students and their allies. “Plus” students are also welcome to attend.
The sex-centered prom is sponsored by the school district and the Howard County Office of Human Rights and Equity. The local LGBTQIA+ Commission is also involved.
The prom will be emceed by a local drag queen who recently performed for children and urged them to be naughty.
The grown man wearing ladies unmentionables also told children to “take the money” – suggesting that they embrace the drag world.
The theme of this year’s “Pride Prom” is “Mythical Garden.” No doubt the decorations will include lots of pansies and daffodils and potted plants.
