Hello Americans, I’m Todd Starnes. Stand by for news and commentary next.
Calvin Hillesland teaches German at Watertown High School in South Dakota.
He’s at the center of an ugly controversy over transgenderism.
A high school teacher could face a federal investigation after he told students that boys cannot identify as girls and girls cannot identify as boys.

Mr. Hillesland gave students a letter addressing the scientific facts about gender identity.
But parents say it was a pre-meditated attack on transgenderism.
The school district sided with the parents — saying that students have a right to be who they are. Using that logic If the kids want to be a tree, they can be a tree. If they want to identify as a horse, they can identify as a horse.
The school says they are investigating and the teacher could face a federal probe from the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights.
South Dakota. Zero days without being a national embarrassment. Local teacher at the high school thought it was a good idea to hand this letter to several students. pic.twitter.com/BjnJx4dLdG

Mr. Hillesland should be commending for telling his students the truth.
Boys cannot become girls. Girls cannot become boys.
It’s a biological truth.
Give the teacher a raise.
