Teachers in at least two school districts in Wisconsin have been accused of ordering students to publicly declare their political affiliations.
Libs of Tik Tok reports at least two high schools forced kids to say whether they were Republican or Democrat.
At McFarland High Schools students were instructed to stand up in class and not only declare their political allegiance, but also their positions on three major culture war issues.
A high school in Middleton, Wisconsin had students write their names and political affiliations on Post-it notes that were displayed in a hallway.

One female student told her history teacher that she felt extremely uncomfortable because classmates were calling Republicans “Nazis.”
Moms For Liberty explained in a social media post what happened next:
A teenage girl in Middleton, WI was ordered to write her full name on a square in the high school hallway and publicly declare herself as Republican, Democrat, or Independent. She refused at first—because she had just overheard other students pointing at the “red” squares and sneering: “all those people are N@zis.” She told the history teacher she was afraid. She explained what she’d heard. The teacher dismissed her and ordered her to participate anyway. She was described as shaking after being forced to “out herself” politically in front of peers. This is intimidation, not education. This is what happens when schools trade neutrality for activism.
As one parent said -the schools are dividing the kids and making them feel uncomfortable.
Moms For Liberty says students should not be forced to out themselves politically.
“This isn’t education — it’s forced disclosure of personal beliefs. It pressures students, divides classrooms, and makes kids uncomfortable,” the organization wrote on X.
The school district said in a statement to Fox News that they were “actively and aggressively investigating any reports of student-to-student harassment as a result of participation in this activity” and said that an anonymous harassment reporting tool is available to students.”
“Through our conversations with students and their families, we learned publicly declaring a party affiliation as part of the course has made some students uncomfortable. Because of safety concerns and student input, we have removed the political spectrum display where party declarations were documented,” the district stated. “Going forward, students in the course will continue to be given the opportunity to make a party declaration privately.”
I’m not buying for a minute that this was some sort of innocent classroom exercise to get kids excited about government. When you examine the political leanings of the teacher involved in this nonsense, it’s clear he had an agenda and was using his platform to spew anti-Republican propaganda.
