DEVELOPING STORY: Violence broke out at the University of Pittsburgh after pro-transgender activists tried to shut down a planned speech by conservative pundit Michael Knowles.
Watch the videos of the violence below and click here to follow Todd on his Rumble television channel.
An angry mob burned an effigy of Knowles and screamed obscenities as they carried a banner that read, “These queers bash back.”
The university declared a ‘public safety emergency’ as the violent mob grew and an “incendiary device” went off.
The Pitt News, quoting police, said the device was a “combination of a firework and a smoke bomb.”
“In addition to several devices which produced significant smoke, an incendiary device was thrown in the direction of officers,” police said in a statement.
Video shows some sort of fire burning in the streets outside the speech venue.
There were no injuries and no one was arrested. Knowles was permitted to deliver his speech.
The event was sponsored by campus Republicans.
The mob was upset over remarks Knowles delivered at CPAC where he said “transgenderism must be eradicated from public life entirely.”
Yet another example of the violence perpetrated by transgender activists and their attempts to shut down free speech, as I outlined in my book, “Culture Jihad: How to Stop the Left From Killing a Nation.” Click here to read my book.
