“Contrary to popular belief, I’ve never been an escort for Sen. Ted Cruz, but I will tell you tonight it is the coolest thing I’ve never heard about Ted Cruz,” Boebert said.
In June a Democrat-aligned super PAC fueled unsubstantiated rumors that Boebert once worked as an escort, had two abortions and advertised her services on a “sugar daddy” website.
Even CNN balked at the uncorroborated claims.
As you can observe from the video below, Boebert’s joke was not exactly a knee-slapper.
“Great job, GOP,” wrote Heath Mayo on Twitter. “She’s speaking to a group of high schoolers.”
“These same people talk about how same-sex families and gay teachers will ‘corrupt our culture,’ but then go out and tell high-schoolers that men who cheat on their families with paid escorts are cool,” he said.
In 2020 Turning Point USA turned heads when a pair of “Bang Girls” shot cash out of a cannon into a screaming crowd of teenage boys and girls.
