The future of female sports in America is in grave jeopardy and if the Democrats have their way – female athletes could go the way of the dinosaurs.
There are troubled waters at the University of Pennsylvania.
22-year-old Lia Thomas smashed two Ivy League records in women’s swimming the other day – making him the fastest female swimmer in the nation.
Thomas set a new 500 freestyle Ivy League record. He also holds the distinction of being the fastest swimmer in the nation in the 200 freestyle.
But for three previous years – Thomas swam on the men’s team. That’s because Thomas is in fact a man who believes he is a woman.
The same thing has happened in other sports like track and field and basketball. Where transgender athletes are taking scholarships and victories away from biological females.
To illustrate the point – Thomas did not just set new records – he destroyed them – beating one female swimmer by 38 seconds.
His teammates say nearly all of them have complained to the coaches, but there’s nothing they can do.
“Pretty much everyone individually has spoken to our coaches about not liking this,” one female swimmer told Outkick. “Our coach just really likes winning. He’s like most coaches. I think secretly everyone just knows it’s the wrong thing to do.”
A second female swimmer told the website that some of her teammates were angry and in tears knowing that there was no way they could physically compete with a male swimmer.
“They feel so discouraged because no matter how much work they put in it, they’re going to lose. Usually, they can get behind the blocks and know they out-trained all their competitors and they’re going to win and give it all they’ve got,” the unnamed swimmer said.
The swimming world is buzzing about what will happen later next year at the NCAA national women’s championships — with growing concerns that Thomas may very well shatter every record in the sport. It’s a very real possibility that the female swimmer in America will be a man.
It’s an issue that has made allies of conservatives and feminists – who understand that if the transgender movement is not confronted over this blatant attack that women’s sports will sleep with the fishes.
