Hello Americans, I’m Todd Starnes. Stand by for news and commentary next.
Students at the University of Illinois Chicago are getting a lesson in the history of pronouns, Campus Reform reports.
Reading material includes books like “Beyond the Gender Binary” and “The Pragmatics of Personal Pronouns.”
The university also provides faculty and staff with a “Practical Guide to Non-Sexist Language.”
In the spirit of a non-gender specific university, the school has officially banned words like freshman, handyman and tomboy.
Those words are considered sexist.
Instead, the university recommends calling handymen – odd-job workers.
Tomboys — active children.
It’s an all-out war on pronouns. And a war on common sense.
God created male and female. Pronouns are not non-binary. A he cannot become a she. They is not singular, nor is them.
Biology is what it is.
Finally, professors will no longer to bring their wives to a black tie gala at the university. Moving forward, those rubber chicken dinners will be called semiformal. And your dinner date will be referred to as your spouse.
