UPDATE: School Bans Kids From Wearing ‘Pray for Peace’ Shirts

A few days ago I told you the story of the lacrosse team at Blacksburg High School in Virginia.

The girls wanted to honor their coach. She worked for 10 summers helping orphans in Ukraine.

So the girls had t-shirts made that read ‘Pray for Peace.’ There was also  a Ukrainian flag on the shirt.

But the school board pitched a fit. They said the shirts were too religious and too political.

The superintendent told reporters that it implied the school district was taking a side in the war.

So the girls were told they could no longer wear the shirts.

And that got me to thinking – what a great way to stand in solidarity with the Blacksburg High School lacrosse team and Ukrainian young people.

So we had t-shirts made up that say “Pray for Ukraine.” All the proceeds – 100 percent – will benefit their cause.

You can order a Pray for Ukraine shirt right now by clicking here.
