Constitution Day is not being celebrated on college campuses and a new video explains why.
Students at the University of Florida were asked by a Campus Reform reporter, Ophelie Jacobson, if the U.S. Constitution should be abolished and many signed a petition to support the move.
“Absolutely terrible,” one student said of the founding document. “Needs to be redone immediately.”
“It has to be,” another student said. “It was written in the late 1700’s, it wasn’t written for the 21st century.”
UF students slammed the Constitution for being patriarchal, out of date, and for including the right to bear arms.
“It should be abolished,” a student concluded. “It’s time for a new Constitution.”
