“The Mandalorian” star Gina Carano has been canceled by the culture.
LucasFilms says the conservative actress will no longer be a part of their popular Disney Plus television series.
Carano, one of the few outspoken Republicans in Hollywood, was fired after she shared a post on her Instagram story saying Republicans in the United States are being treated just like Jews during Nazi Germany:
“Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…even by children. Because history is edited, most people don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is this any different from hating someone for their political views?”
LucasFilms called the ex-MMA fighter’s comments “abhorrent” and “unacceptable” and she was dropped by her agency.
Let’s look at the facts, because there’s a striking comparison to what happened leading up to WWII to what’s happening in the country today.
There is an effort to dehumanize Trump supporters just like the Nazis dehumanized the Jews.
Carano was trying to shine a great, big spotlight on a very disturbing time in America.
Democrats are creating registries of Trump supporters, blacklists to keep them from getting jobs.
They also urged that children of Trump backers be removed from their homes so they could be deprogrammed.
And even more disturbing, a number of Democrats called for Trump supporters to be rounded up and put into gulags.
Carano was absolutely right. Being a Republican in the United States is a lot like being a Jew during Nazi Germany.
Disney has no problem working with China as they commit religious persecution but God forbid you have a strong, confident woman starring in a Disney film.
