President Trump is calling for Americans to boycott the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company over a policy that bans any conversations about making America great again.
A staff worker in Topeka posted a screenshot from a recent training session – showing the company’s new policy regarding political speech.
It’s okay for staffers to talk about Black Lives Matter or Gay Pride.
But if you are pro-police or pro-Trump it’s best if you keep your opinions to yourself.
The company literally banned anything related to Blue Lives Matter, All Lives Matter or Make America Great Again.
In other words don’t even think about wearing a red MAGA hat in the garage.
“Don’t buy GOODYEAR TIRES – They announced a BAN ON MAGA HATS. Get better tires for far less,” the president wrote on Twitter. “(This is what the Radical Left Democrats do. Two can play the same game, and we have to start playing it now!).”
Goodyear told television station WIBW that they are committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace.
“Goodyear is committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace where all of our associates can do their best in a spirit of teamwork. As part of this commitment, we do allow our associates to express their support on racial injustice and other equity issues but ask that they refrain from workplace expressions, verbal or otherwise, in support of political campaigning for any candidate or political party as well as other similar forms of advocacy that fall outside the scope of equity issues,” the statement read.
In other words – if you want to work at Goodyear – you probably have to pledge allegiance to the rainbow flag and take a knee during the national anthem.
