Meet the Heroes of Hurricane Harvey
President Donald Trump and the First Lady visited Texas earlier this week and have now pledged $1 million out of their own pocket to aid victims of Hurricane Harvey.
On Thursday, he tweeted out "HEROES" with a series of tweets highlighting police officers and other first responders who are helping with rescue and recovery from the tropical storm.
"Thank you to all of the brave first responders and volunteers from around the United States helping with the ongoing rescue and relief efforts in Texas," @realDonaldTrump tweeted.
From President Trump to Texas Governor Greg Abbott to the local police officers and firefighters and of course the countless volunteers from all over the country, there are heroes at all levels and we want to recognize a few of them.

Samaritan’s Purse and Southern Baptist Disaster Relief are two organizations that provide physical as well as spiritual assistance to storm victims. You can be guaranteed that every single penny you send will be used to help those in need. These two organizations have my strongest endorsement.
