Todd Starnes Show Recap: July 17
The Todd Starnes Show had an all-star line up on Monday's show which airs Monday through Friday 12-3 PM EST live on toddstarnes.com!
Todd Starnes Monologue: Home Depot FIRED 70-Year-Old Army Veteran for Trying to Stop Shoplifters!
Home Depot needs to rethink the shoplifting policy that got Jim Tinney, a 70-year-old army veteran fired. Tinney Jim should be held up as a hero for young boys to emulate, yet he's being viewed as an "insurance liability." Read more at FoxNews.com.
1:20 PM Newt Gingrich, Former Speaker of the House & author of the #1 NY Times best seller, Understanding Trump:
Gingrich said, "In the long run the president is moving in the right direction...but we should not underestimate the beating [Trump] is taking" from the Left. "Trump is truly remarkable because he won against 16 Republicans" then Hillary Clinton, so he had a lot of people against him going into the White House. "I would've started with taxes and infrastructure, then I would've moved to healthcare third." Gingrich is calling for the Republicans to do a very large tax cut completed by Thanksgiving. You can read more about his plan at FoxNews.com.
2:20 PM Kristen K. Waggoner, Senior Vice President of US legal advocacy, General Counsel with Alliance Defending Freedom:
Waggoner responded to the reports from ABC and NBC News
"It's completely false...We stand for all people, all faiths...so SPFC is wrong..." ABC and NBC News committed "journalistic malpractice" by copy and pasting the Souther Poverty Law Center's press release. "This is a prime example" of why Americans don't trust the mainstream media. "We're not going to let this pass anymore because it's wrong. It's shameful." SPLC puts anyone who opposes their leftist agenda, and it's actually inciting violence.
