Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot became enraged Saturday declared war on citizens who are hosting large parties and gatherings.
“You absolutely must stay at your home,” the mayor declared during a rage-filled press conference. “We will shut you down. We will cite you. And if we need to we will arrest you and we will take you to jail. Period.”
The mayor also warned Windy City residents that if citizens fail to comply, the mandatory stay-at-home orders could be extended indefinitely.
The commissioner of Chicago’s Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection said the city is working with shared space companies such as Airbnb to put an end to parties. “When you go out and party when you go home to your momma your grandma who has an underlying condition,” the mayor said. “You are bringing death to their doorstep.”

“We are watching you,” she said. “And we are going to take decisive action.”
