Hello Americans. I’m Todd Starnes.  Stand by for news and commentary next.

Candace Owens, the conservative author and commentator, was denied medical care because the medical provider disagreed with her political opinions.

Ms. Owens had been scheduled to get a China Virus test at Aspen Laboratories. But the co-founder of the lab denied her service.

Suzanna Lee sent Ms. Owens a letter explaining that she was being denied service because of her objections to government mandated face masks – and the effectiveness of vaccination shots.

“We cannot support anyone who has pro-actively worked to make this pandemic worse by spreading misinformation, politicizing and DISCOURAGING the wearing of masks and actively dissuading people from receiving life-saving vaccinations,” Lee wrote.

Lee concluded her email by saying she and her employees worked “overtime, to exhaustion, unpaid and underpaid” over the past year to ensure everyone remains safe. Hence, it would be “unfair” to serve Owens.

It may very well be the first instance of a conservative being denied medical service because of their politics.

“Oh – you voted for Trump? Sorry, sir – but we can’t fix your broken arm.”

“This is not about health anymore, this is about politics,” Owens told Tucker Carlson. “These people are sadistic, they are sadists. They like to manipulate you, they like control. They don’t care about public health. This is a public health crisis she would say ‘you know what I hate Candace Owen but of course she is in my town I’m going to give her a test and make sure she doesn’t infect anybody else.'”

Under the Civil Rights Act of 1964, it is illegal for a healthcare provider to deny a patient treatment based on the patient’s age, sex, race, sexual orientation, religion, or national origin. Maybe they should add politics to the list.
