A radical leftist picked the wrong congressman to bully.
The protester got in the face of Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) and that turned out to be a very bad life choice.
Higgins, a retired U.S. Army general, was participating in a press conference with Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) and Rep. Lauren Boeber (R-CO) when a 25-year-old activist disrupting the gathering.
Higgins told Newsweek that the activist was “threatening.”
“He was escorted out and turned over to Capitol Police,” he told the news magazine.
“Despite Rep. Higgins being the one putting his hands on me, dragging me without my consent, the cops all sprung down on me,” Burdett told Newsweek. “They let Rep. Higgins walk away without having a word with the guy, but then told me to go walk across the street to the sidewalk opposite us, so that they could question me about what happened.”
Higgins detained the out-of-control activist until police arrived.
Leftists should understand that if you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.
@RepClayHiggins pushing an activist for asking tough questions is supposed to be normal? pic.twitter.com/CQx6s3PCQ3
