DEVELOPING STORY: At least three people were shot after a gunman opened fire at “The Streets at Southpoint” in Durham, North Carolina. The conditions of the victims are unknown.
“We heard people running and screaming, ‘shots fired,'” one eyewitness said.
Police say the mall has been evacuated and closed – on one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
One of the victims is a 10-year-old child who was caught in the crossfire.
Police believe the shooting was the result of an argument between two groups of people inside the mall.
