A massive fire is burning at a church in Minneapolis tonight. Firefighters say the blaze broke through the roof — and firefighters have been ordered to evacuate the building.
The church has been identified as the Sacred Heart of Jesus Polish National Catholic Church
There are numerous reports that an arson investigator has been summoned to the scene. However, there is no indication at this point whether the blaze is connected to the George Floyd protests.
A KSTP reporter in northeast Minneapolis said a priest was at the scene consoling church members.
We have gone from a civil rights movement that was threatened with burning churches to a ‘civil rights movement’ that actually burns churches.
