DEVELOPING STORY: There are reports of gunfire at a Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Dayton, Ohio. There’s no word just yet on injuries.
Video, which you can watch below, shows terrified spectators running for cover.
An eyewitness wrote on Facebook, “This this s*** is so crazy in this world today don’t understand it the kids down there watching the Christmas tree lighting and the parade and then there was gunshots and somebody got shot and they had to shut the parade down I can remember when I was a little kid you didn’t have to worry about that crazy but today you have to worry about this crazy crap thank God my children and my grandchildren are fine check on your families it was at the parade downtown Dayton.”
“Chaos at the tree lighting as the crowd panics. Not sure what happened. I cut my hand in the stampede. I was too busy watching my drone to see what happened,” wrote another.
Police have yet to comment on what may have happened.
