The mysterious Christmas Day bombing in Nashville continues to get even more bizarre.
In the aftermath the city’s Democrat mayor declared a state of civil emergency as well as a curfew.
It’s curious because federal officials say they do not believe there is any reason for citizens to be alarmed.

And now comes word that the Federal Aviation Administration has declared the skies over Nashville to be “national defense airspace.”
The alert to pilots states “pilots who do not adhere to the following procedures may be intercepted, detained, and interviewed by law enforcement/security personnel.”
And any pilot who disobeys those orders could be in serious trouble.
“Pilots who do not adhere to the following procedures may be intercepted, detained and interviewed by law enforcement/security personnel,” the alert reads, listing the additional actions that may be taken in the event of a pilot failing to comply with the instructions. These include administrative action, including “imposing civil penalties and the suspension or revocation of airmen certificate” or criminal charges pursued by the U.S. government.
