FACT CHECK: Biden Claims 1,000 People Stormed ‘Parliament’ on J6 – Killing Cops

President Biden told a crowd of Democrats that a giant mob stormed Parliament in Washington, D.C.

“If you turned on the television in Washington D.C., and saw a mob of a thousand people storming down the hallways of the Parliament, breaking down the doors, trying to overturn an outcome of election and killing several police officers in the meantime,” he said.

So let’s set the record straight.

1. A mob of 1,000 people did not storm the U.S. Capitol.
2. This is the United States. We have a Congress, not a Parliament.
3. No police officers were killed on that day.
4. The only person who was killed was a protester – who was gunned down by a government agent.

So we must conclude that President Biden is either lying about the events of January 6 or he is ignorant of the facts or he has the mental capacity of a bowl of porridge.
