President Trump is once again the victim of a fake news attack. This time the guilty party is Reuters.
They published a story accusing the president of calling illegal aliens animals who are not human.
“Donald Trump called immigrants illegally in the United States ‘animals’ and ‘not human’ in a speech in Michigan on Tuesday, resorting to the degrading rhetoric he has employed time and again on the campaign trail,” Reuters reported.
The comment was taken completely out of context. Watch below:
New ‘bloodbath’ style hoax just dropped. Trump callled criminals and the illegal who m*rdered Laken Riley “animals.” They clipped it to make it appear that Trump is calling all “immigrants” animals.

Why do Dems love protecting criminals and m*rderers? https://t.co/WnZkopoaev pic.twitter.com/YYNCLjXBkr
Trump was specifically referring to the illegal alien accused of murdering Laken Riley, the 22-year-old nursing student from Georgia. And in general terms he said the violent illegals who are attacking Americans on American soil are not human.
Nathan Layne, Gram Slattery and Tim Reid shared bylines on the disgusting hit piece. Character assassins all.
The Reuters article was published in a number of newspapers and digital platforms across the nation. And as of this commentary has yet to be corrected or retracted.
Last year Gallup released a survey showing that trust in the media is at an all-time low. Only 32 percent of Americans indicated they trust journalists a great deal. Only 11 percent of Republicans.
Newspapers could restore some of that trust by immediately canceling their contracts with Reuters.
