FIRED! Nurse Threatened to Not to Treat Patients Watching Fox News

A nurse who worked at the University of Texas Medical Branch has been fired after she posted a message suggesting that she would not treat patients who she caught watching Fox News in their hospital rooms.

Libs of TikTok first exposed the woman who posted video on her TikTok account. Watch the clip below.

The clip shows someone who appears to be a nurse backing out of a doorway, superimposed with the words “when I walk into my patient’s room and Fox news is blasting.” In the background, Whitney Houston sings “we both know I’m not what you need,” a line from her famous song “I Will Always Love You.”

The medical center, one of the oldest west of the Mississippi River, launched an immediate investigation.

“UTMB is aware of the social media posts and is conducting an investigation. This individual’s access to work at any UTMB facility has been suspended while the investigation is ongoing,” the health center said.

UTMB later announced that the individual was a contract worker and her employment had been terminated. Be sure to click here to get my breaking news alerts delivered to your inbox.
