A masked robber picked the wrong taco joint to stick up. It happened at The Ranchito Number Four in Houston.

Did the customer who shot the robber do the right thing?

About 10 customers were munching on tacos when a man walked in, pulled out a gun and ordered them to turn over cell phones and wallets.

It turns out the suspect was using a fake gun, but one of the customers happened to have a real gun. And when the robber turned his back – the customer opened fire.

The robber was killed. Watch video of the shooting below. Caution, it is graphic.

Houston Police say they are hoping to identify the customer. It’s unclear if he will face any charges because of what he did.

“He’s a hero to me,” said Pedro Lopez, the owner of the taco joint. “He’s not an asassain, he’s a hero.”

Once the gunman fell to the ground, the customer grabbed the “fake” gun and returned the stolen wallets and cell phones to the customers.

“I’m very grateful for what he did because if it was either a fake or real gun he did a good deed for the community,” Lopez told television station KHOU.
