From Norco, California comes the latest example of your Second Amendment at work.
The owner of a convenience store is being hailed as a hero after he stopped an armed robbery.
A 23-year-old man stormed into the Norco Market and pointed an AR-15 at the 80-year-old owner.
Turns out the owner had been watching security cam footage and saw the guy putting on a face mask in the parking lot.
The suspect yelled, “Freeze, hands in the air,” but within seconds, the unnamed store owner pulled out a shotgun from under the counter and immediately fired off a round and struck the robber.

Video footage, which you can watch above, shows the suspect running out of the store repeatedly screaming, “He shot my arm off!”
It’s unlikely the 23-year-old perp will be physically able to attempt more armed robberies.
“In this case, a lawfully armed member of our community prevented a violent crime and ensured their own safety, while being confronted with multiple armed suspects,” the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release. “This investigation is active and ongoing and no additional information will currently be released.”
Police arrested three suspects — and commended the store owner — who unfortunately suffered a heart attack. He’s expected to fully recover.
The incident is a great reminder that the Second Amendment affords law-abiding Americans the right to bear arms. Unless, of course, you are a criminal — and there’s a good chance you could lose an arm.
