Larry Elder – the famous talk show host running for governor – was attacked in California the other day.
Mr. Elder is a black conservative – leading in the polls to replace Governor Gavin Newsom in the recall election.
He and his campaign staff were in Venice when they were set upon by a small group of mostly white leftist thugs.
A white woman wearing a gorilla mask rode up on a bicycle and pelted Mr. Elder with eggs. Here’s how Mr. Elder described the attack:
Today I kicked off the Recall Express bus tour. Before we even left Los Angeles, my security detail was physically assaulted, shot with a pellet gun, and hit with projectiles. The intolerant left will not stop us. We will recall Gavin Newsom. We will save California.

Another campaign staffer was shot with a pellet gun and punched in the face.
“Get that piece of s*** out of here,” someone screamed. “Here’s a man who doesn’t even like his own people and running for governor.”
There was hardly any national news coverage of the incident. As of this broadcast there have been no announcements of investigations by the LAPD or the FBI.
Maybe they are too busy investigating the faux hate crimes perpetrated against Bubba Wallace and Jussie Smollett?
By its very definition – what happened to Larry Elder is a hate crime. And should be prosecuted as such.
But as we all know when it comes to hate crimes – there is clearly a double standard when the victim is a black conservative.

Breaking: A flying egg narrowly missed the back of recall candidate @larryelder's head after it was thrown by an activist wearing a gorilla mask in Venice. A scuffle broke out and the candidate was escorted into an SUV.
