Big news from Los Angeles. Non-citizens are now eligible to work in taxpayer-funded, government jobs.
Fox Business reports there are nearly 900 thousand non-citizens living in Los Angeles.
And Public Defender Ricardo Garcia says requiring citizenship to work for the city government is tantamount to discrimination based on cultural, racial and ethnic characteristics.
“Barriers to employment based on cultural, racial, ethnic, or religious characteristics are contrary to our core values. Citizenship overlaps these demographic characteristics,” Los Angeles County Public Defender Ricardo García told Fox Business. “This motion, by Supervisors Solis and Kuehl, will promote equity in hiring and give the Public Defender’s Office access to the most qualified applicants for employment, irrespective of their citizenship status.”
The Board of Supervisors says non-citizens will still have to provide proof of citizenship. But even that might be a bit dubious.
Investigative journalist Lara Logan reports that illegal aliens are being given Social Security numbers as soon as they cross the border.
“You look around you and you know they don’t actually believe in citizenship. And now when people come across the border illegally, I have this confirmed from border patrol agents who are actually, physically doing this, they get given a Social Security number. They get assigned a Social Security number when they cross,” she told a gathering in Arizona. “I’m not sure how many of you are aware of that. And if you really want to know where the cheating starts, it’s long before you get to the polls. Think about it, it starts with the census. It starts with counting illegals in the census.”
In other words – illegal aliens are now able to vote illegally in our elections. You can take a wild guess which party will get their votes.
I sincerely doubt that anyone who crossed into our nationally illegally has any desire to make America great again.
