A rampaging mob laid waste to many businesses across Brooklyn Center, Minnesota over the weekend. Some stores were literally wiped out — merchandise stolen off the shelves.
A Dollar Tree store was set ablaze on Monday night and big box stores like Walmart were also hit by looters.
But journalist Julio Rosas made a very interesting observation about a smaller group of businesses in the town.
“Some Brooklyn Center stores are being protected by civilians with firearms,” Rosas wrote on Twitter. “The looters have stayed away from these places.”
Looters may be criminals, but they’re not stupid.
