A Trump supporter was beaten and bloodied in a violent attack inside a New York grocery store.
Police in the Village of Bath said the victim was shopping inside the Tops Friendly Markets when another shopper became enraged over the man’s “Trump 2024” hat.
Robert Yott “punched the victim in the mouth and head several times, causing the victim’s teeth to be broken and mouth bloodied,” police said in a statement.
Police said the 60-year-old attacker was not known to the victim and it appeared to be a random act of violence.
Yott is facing a felony charge of assault and a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief. The victim suffered serious injuries, but is expected to recover.
It would be prudent for Trump supporters to be on alert in the coming days. On Saturday President Biden said that he wanted to smack the asses of Trump supporters.
