OPINION:
The Mainstream Media is enraged that President Trump shared a video clip of a white Macy’s employee being brutally beaten by a black man in Flint Township, Michigan.
The videos on social media purportedly shows the employee wearing a face covering standing away from the alleged assailant before being punched in the head. The employee falls to the ground and can be heard saying: “What did you do that for?” while reaching his arm out to keep the man away from him.
Police say they have identified two suspects, including one man who filmed the beat down.
FT Quay said he and his brother heard the white sales clerk use the “n-word.”
“I just want people to know the real story of really what happened and what’s in the description of me and my brother just walking into Macy’s just minding our own business,” the 22-year-old rapper said.
“And, yes, we made a petty joke and asked the guy was the shirt too little when he could’ve asked me. He was just being funny,” Quay said. “And just the fact of the remark that he said that we all heard. And just, what else were we supposed to do? In this age and time, he didn’t know what else to do. That was just his instinct.”
However, Macy’s spokesman said they have investigated the incident and determined their employee did nothing wrong.
“All the materials from the evening have been reviewed and it is clear that the attack was unprovoked,” a spokesman told the Detroit Free Press. “We are working closely with local authorities on this investigation, and will defer any further comments about the case to them, per policy.”
President Trump shared a link to the video and demanded to know, “Where are the protesters? Was this man arrested?”
It was a terrific question, but the Mainstream Media exploded.
“This is another example of something that President Trump is doing, apparently to fan the flames and sort of, you know, exacerbate these racial tensions that we’re already seeing played out throughout the country,” Axios’s Alexi McCammon said. “And ‘racial tensions’ is generous. These are overt and egregious acts of extreme racism.”
How ironic seeing that CNN and MSNBC not only started a race war, but they’ve been pouring gasoline on the blaze for weeks.
When a white person kills a black person it is automatically classified as a hate crime. But when the roles are reversed, the Mainstream Media turns a blind eye.
That’s what happens when the rule of law has been tainted by identity politics. Hate is hate. Murder is murder. No matter the color of one’s skin.
Someone in Flint, Michigan knows who this mean individual is.
Make sure he is arrested.
