A newly surfaced video appears to show an armed Alex Pretti spitting at federal agents and kicking out the taillights of their black SUV during a verbal rampage 11 days before he was shot and killed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, according to footage that his family confirmed is of Pretti.

“The video, which the BBC said it has verified, apparently captured the ICU nurse screaming at federal agents while they were driving away during a heated Jan. 13 protest before kicking the back of the car, prompting officers to exit and tackle him to the ground,” the New York Post reported.

ICE officials jumped out of their vehicle to chase Pretti down while a crowd gathered around them screaming and holding up the middle finger to the agents.

Pretti appeared to have a handgun in his wristband and was wearing very similar clothing to what he had on when he was fatally shot on Jan. 24.

A representative for the Pretti family said they “knew about the incident and that he sustained injuries, but did not receive medical care,” according to CBS News.

Conservative commentators noted the important context of the latest video given the anti-ICE protests occurring over the past week, in part spurred by Pretti’s death.

“So the ‘hero nurse’ was actually a crazy psycho spitting on ICE agents and attacking their vehicle. Guy should have been charged for this,” Clay Travis wrote on X.

“If Alex Pretti had been jailed after his first attack on ICE, he would be alive today. He would have been protected against his own bad decisions and actions,” Jack Posobiec added.

The Department of Homeland Security is reviewing the newest footage of the 37-year-old’s prior altercation with federal agents, The Post learned.
