DEVELOPING STORY: The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday night Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro is on lockdown after what they said was an active shooter situation.
“Please pray for a friend that is locked in the bathroom right now,” one person wrote on social media, referring to a friend who works at the hospital. “Dear God, help us all.”
Greene County Commissioner Derek Burress posted a message on Twitter saying “our thoughts and prayers go out to those who were impacted by the Wayne Memorial Hospital incident.”
